Holiday Hours & End of Year Information
Please note the following holiday hours:
Wednesday, December 24: All locations will close at 12 PM and our Service Center will close at 1 PM CST.
Thursday, December 25: All locations and our Service Center will be closed to observe the Christmas holiday.
Wednesday, December 31: All locations will close at 3 PM and our Service Center will close at 4 PM CST.
Thursday, January 1: All locations and our Service Center will be closed to observe New Year's Day.
All 2025 transactions must be completed by the end-of-day on Wednesday, December 31.
1 | Tax Notices
All tax notices will be sent out no later than January 31, 2026. For investment accounts, please refer to the communication from your wealth team.
2 | Correct Information
Please make sure your address is correct before January 1, 2026 to ensure accurate delivery of end of year documents. If you need to update your address, you can do so within personal online banking, by clicking the profile link in the upper right corner.
3 | Social Security and Account Numbers
To protect your personal information, all tax notices will mask your Social Security Number and account numbers. Notices will contain the last four digits of deposit account numbers, and the last six digits of loan numbers.
Frequently Asked Questions
In which instances will MidWestOne not send a year-end tax form?
The bank will not send a 1099-INT form if the total amount of deposit interest paid in 2025 is less than $10. We will not report 1098 interest to the IRS if the mortgage loan interest paid amount is less than $600, however, we will mail you a 1098 form for interest paid amounts $50 and over.
What if my address changed after January 1?
We will periodically review tax documents that were undeliverable and send them out if your address has updated. Please visit your local office or call us if you have not received your tax documents by the middle of February.
