MidWestOne Bank Celebrates Second Annual Community Day to Support Local Volunteerism

IOWA CITY, Iowa (October 14, 2025) – MidWestOne Financial Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: MOFG) (the “Company”), parent company of MidWestOne Bank (the “Bank”), is excited to announce its second annual Community Day, a company-wide initiative that reflects our deep commitment to the communities we serve. As a community bank, we believe in walking the talk—and on October 21, we’ll be closing our doors for half the day to give employees across our footprint the opportunity to volunteer with local nonprofits and community organizations.

This tradition began last year as part of our 90th Anniversary celebration, and the response was overwhelming. In 2024, 636 employees participated, contributing an estimated 2,144 volunteer hours across dozens of events nationwide. From food banks to neighborhood cleanups, our team showed what it means to be a community bank in action.

“We launched Community Day last year to honor our 90th anniversary, but it quickly became clear that this was more than a one-time celebration—it was the beginning of a tradition,” said Len Devaisher, President and Chief Operating Officer. “MidWestOne is more than a bank. We’re part of the fabric of our communities, and Community Day is one way we live that out—by giving our employees time and space to make a difference.”

This year, we’re building on that momentum. All employees are given the opportunity to volunteer by partnering with their local organizations to support the communities they call home. Lunch will be provided before the volunteer shift begins, and team members are encouraged to share photos and stories from the day on social media and internal channels.

Community Day is just one of the many ways MidWestOne Bank continues to invest in the places we call home. We look forward to seeing the impact our team will make again this year—and to continuing this tradition for years to come.
