MidWestOne bankers are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation nationally, regionally, and locally. Since threats of pandemic began more than a decade ago, MidWestOne Bank has had a business continuity plan in place to protect our customers, our employees, and our communities which has been activated.

We are paying close attention to the recommendations made by the Centers for Disease Control, national, state, and local officials. As events unfold, we will take necessary steps to protect the health of our customers and employees.

MidWestOne is devoting significant resources to stay on top of this emerging situation to keep you and our employees informed and prepared. Together, we’ll do everything we can to meet this unprecedented challenge.

On June 1, we began reopening lobbies at select branch locations. While some lobbies continue to be open by appointment only, our drive-up lanes are open and available to serve you during this pandemic.

Taking care of our customers...

Through July 31 MidWestOne will offer the following assistance to our retail and business customers:

  • Work with each customer to help with their unique situation
  • One withdrawal from a certificate of deposit up to $20,000 and no early withdrawal penalty
  • Consumer hardship assistance loans ranging between $1,000 to $5,000 at low rates*
  • 30-day payment extensions on most retail loans and lines of credit
  • Consumer home equity lines of credit at low introductory rates*
  • Consumer credit cards with limited time benefits*
  • 90-day deferred principal payments for qualified business customers with identified need
  • Other business loan accommodations such as increasing borrowing capacity where warranted
